Embark on an adventure and join the party in Downtown Ventura. Just hop off the 101 Freeway to explore its vintage shops, soak up some culture with local art and music, then stroll down California Street to Main Street!

Pierpont is the perfect coastal paradise for those who crave sun and gastronomical diversity. Whether you’re looking to settle in a new home or just explore all the unique shops, Pierpont has something for everyone!

  1. Midtown. 

Midtown Ventura offers something for everyone! From schools and malls to hospitals and business services, this vibrant community is home to various residential neighborhoods — each with its unique charm.

  1. East End 

East Ventura is the ideal family destination, where kids can play in generous yards and attend top-notch schools. Parents will enjoy strolling the streets lined with welcoming restaurants to celebrate all those special moments together!

  1. Ventura Harbor Village 

At Ventura Harbor Village, you can make the most of your seaside experience with delicious food and drinks all year round. Enjoy waterfront dining while admiring stunning sunsets, or become part of their famous Happy Hour menu – it’s an unforgettable occasion every time!

The College Area is an incredible city hub of life and leisure, packed with cultural gems and recreational wonders.

The mosaic of The Avenue’s diverse faces, businesses, and passions paint the perfect picture for Ventura Westside. It is a vibrant reflection of its remarkable history between picturesque hills and rolling waves on the Pacific Ocean shoreline -all topped off perfectly by the tranquil gushings from the nearby Ventura River.

What are the best things to do and see in Ventura? 

Ventura is a beautiful town with plenty of things to do and see. My favorites include:

1. Take a walk along the Ventura Pier. It’s a great way to enjoy the ocean views and fresh air.

2. Hiking at Mission San Buenaventura Heritage Park. There are some great trails with fantastic city views.

3. Shopping on Main Street. There are plenty of cute shops and restaurants to check out.

4. Going for a swim at Emma Wood State Beach. It’s one of my favorite beaches in the area, and it’s always pretty empty so that you can enjoy some peace.”

5. Exploring the Ventura Botanical Garden. It’s a great place to stroll through, and there are plenty of flowers and plants to admire.

6. Watching a movie at the Majestic Ventura Theater. It’s a historic theater with a unique atmosphere and shows blockbusters and independent films.

7. Visiting Surfer’s Point. This is an excellent spot for surfers and beachgoers, with plenty of opportunities to catch waves or relax on the sand.

8. Take a stroll around Plaza Park. It’s a great place to people-watch and enjoys the sunshine.

9. Going to Ventura Harbor Village. You can take a boat tour, go fishing, or enjoy local restaurants and shops.

10. Eating at the Ventura Harbor Fish Market. It’s one of my favorite spots in town, and they have some delicious seafood!

11. Exploring the shops and galleries of Downtown Ventura. The area is full of unique boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants.

12. Visiting the Museum of Ventura County to observe local history and culture.

13. Enjoy a picnic at Arroyo Verde Park. It’s one of the most beautiful parks in the area and an excellent spot for a lazy afternoon.

14. Going to the Ventura County Fairgrounds for exciting events and carnival rides.

15. Take a leisurely bike ride along the beachfront pathway. It’s a great way to exercise while taking in all the scenery!

And don’t forget about sampling some of the local cuisines. Ventura has plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and bars. There’s something for everyone here!
